I was completely unaware that BF3 flopped..... Me and a lot of other people really need to get with the times...

On a related note, I avidly played PS1 and to respond to a previous comment there were no real issues of not getting into action that their "instant action" functions. The game was a very polished piece and have some great memories of orbital strikes / bombing runs in aircraft / and Mech like units. Can't wait for this one!

Owning every COD and BF to date, I must say I liked what I am seeing. BF and COD are very different games in which both are enjoyable in their own way. My biggest complaint, correct me if I am wrong, is that this is still based off Host related sessions P2P and not server based. I don't care how good a gun is or can be, if your code and pings are crap then it doesn't matter. How about some server support for a game that is slowly declining in my opinion?

BF3 Console server browser is by far the best addition I have seen in a good while.

Nice to see that the knife is still the same old one hit kill bull... as well as last stand is still available for newbs. That right there is enough for me to choose BF over this.

Give me at least 75 % of what I saw in those videos... and you'll have my 60 dollars worth. When did games all the sudden boil down to graphics anyway? I'll take polished solid game play over graphics any day.
