Nov 15th 2006 11:29AM (Joystiq)Blind Sony hate, mob-mentality (little or no ability to think on one's own), zero intelligence, and extreme Nintendo/Xbox fanaticism (more like Xbox 360 fanboys that will also purchase a Wii)...
You must all be happy now. You have a gathering place for your circle jerks. The reality of the situation is that Sony is still going to be the market leader, but that they will lose marketshare, obviously. But don't be caught on the wrong end of the stick with all this religous zealotism I see here...many good games are going to be exclusive to the PS3.
I know it's fun to hate on the market leader to fill some nerd void in your life, but it's not the wise thing to do. If you bought stuff based on the games you'd like (like non-fanboys), most of you probably wouldn't be hating on Sony at all.
PS3 Ridge Racer: 9 minutes too long?
Nov 3rd 2006 3:14PM (Joystiq)I swear every freakin' piece of Sony new is twisted and contorted to feed some kind of massive fanboy/media agenda to bring down Sony just because it's currently the leader of the market. Seriously, WTF, get the f*ck over yourselves. You are all insignificant and hold no power over the market. You are wasting your energy.
All 3 consoles will have their strengths and weaknesses. But if you foolishly think that PS3 is not going to badass, you are in for a rude awakening. The tide is already turning. Once you get hands on time with it, you all are going to want it (just like the other 2 consoles). So, what the hell is everyone bitching about? It's getting uber tiring. I can't peruse the blogs or news media anymore without getting insanely twisted, biased, and spun information constantly flung at me. I thought the internets was supposed to solve the problem of biased news source. Now we have more than ever.

Oct 27th 2006 2:16PM (Joystiq)While the game looks fun in traditional Halo fashion, Joystiq is full of so many Xbots it's no wonder no one has criticized the completely underwhelming graphics yet. This place is pathetic.

It is no surprise, in my opinion, that INTPs (along with similar types) have both invented and pioneered the videogame industry. The ramifications of interactive simulation are far greater reaching than entertainment. They are the basis of the most cutting-edge cognitive psychological research into understanding the process of human learning and education. Experiential cognition (the gaining of usefully practiced skill-sets) studies are epitomised by the experience interactive simulation affords the user.
What I'm basically saying is that videogames are moving the world forward (regardless of whether or not certain people buy this idea or not). Learning in the future will be greatly enhanced through methodologies attributed first to videogames. And you can thank those seemingly unsociable introverted folks that sit in the corner for that!
