Yeah, this shot up to one of my top 5 favorites within the second issue, and this is coming from a guy who doesn't/hasn't read any other X-books in many many years. The new arc has Deathlok Avengers and Esad Ribic interiors. Hell. Yes.

I think the MDCU is great, as long as you're ok with A. The lack of ownership, B. Gaps (some more noticeable than others) and C. Any kind of remotely decent user interface on the site whatsoever. The reader is fine (IMO) but the site itself is pretty terrible.

But the content that's there is pretty damn good. A lot of complete runs ranging from the likes of Simonson's Thor, Morrison's New X-Men, Lee/Ditko's Spider-Man & Dr. Strange, Lee/Kirby's FF, Bendis' Daredevil, Cable & Deadpool, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, Exiles...

And because I'm incapable of discussing the service with a plug: mdcuo.blogspot.com, a site I run trying to organize everything into one-stop links. Certainly easier than sharing it on Fabulous40.

Not gonna lie, I actually want to see more of The Blue Jacket. Also, The Shark, who battles...with an army of sharks.

If nothing else, it's nice that Kongregate has two ways to work around getting pulled off the market.

Having ilo and milo as unlockable 'pets' for my Avatar is alone worth it. It doesn't hurt that the game's quite a bit of fun.
