@KillerC It doesn't need to be wiped to military standards. It just needs to be fully wiped once. Writing zeroes to every sector of the hard drive once is sufficient, but it still takes a long time. There should still be an option for doing this.

What surprises me more, however, is the fact that credit card information is stored locally anyway. Why is that necessary? If I associate my credit card with my gamertag, shouldn't that information just be stored on Microsoft's servers? After all, my Xbox doesn't contacted Visa directly to make a purchase. That goes through the Marketplace servers.

@tendoboy1984 I disagree. I want to encourage developers to put all the DLC on disc and sell iit at a later date. I want it to be standard practice, actually. That way, I know I can get all the content for a good price eventually, still support the developer, and still retain my first-sale rights.
