Duke Nukem Forever delayed

@Crockett
Video games became a recognized sport today. Spectators are standing by to watch countless hours of Halo and Call of Duty tournaments when they could instead be playing the games themselves.

Or we could go play 100's of other games that are free without being solicited.

No, b/c that "bonus" content was already on the disc and instead of just saying so and releasing it Day 1 they BS'd us over several months. It would've been better if they said "We want you to buy this game new. If you buy it new day 1 you get 10 extra maps. If not, then you have to pay $15."

They didn't do that. They dragged us on for months, each time releasing only 2 maps with each update that didn't even take 10 seconds to download. They were "unlocked".

@LEONLEONLEON

Not with the VIP crap they pulled. Wouldn't be surprised if they tried something similar with BF3.

THQ stock drops 25 percent in one day on Homefront launch

@Faenix
So $5 keeps you in line? Or does Block Buster preorder cost more?

To be fair one of the reasons I never preorder is b/c I shop at a PX and there is no tax and it's video game sales are a lot less than Gamestop. You can go in on a video game launch day and they haven't hardly sold anything by noon. So a $60 game is like $5 tax savings.

Too much hype
Too expensive (only a handful of games are worth their full retail value)
No Demo

All this is a bad recipe. That's why I never preorder games. The only game I've preordered in about 3 years now is Portal 2.

Roxio Game Capture introduces new video capture options for consoles and PC

@Da Mr
Seriously? There's been software and hardware like this for years. Ever heard of FRAPS? The problem with PC recording software is the software would have to record at the same time you're playing, unless you were to use a splitter and have 1 PC record while the other PC plays. For PC's it's best to use a games demo record feature and then record it later.

For consoles there are many options already available that are around $100 and feature full HD input.

Fail.

Lame enemies ripped from DOOM, lame environments, lame weapons, and the characters didn't even feel like they were Native Amercian. Horrible game
