My other email is broken?

Other bands are in Aerosmith's Guitar Hero game, maybe Run DMC

How old is everybody in this thread? From all the hate I am going to have to assume everyone is either under 20 or some faux rock snob that only likes that obscure Lithuanian band that their cousin got them a bootleg tape of one time.

I don't want any part of that Gravemind fellow.. what with the slimy tentacles and him being all huge and invading my brain!

Joyswag: Joystiq's Legendary Halo 3 Giveaway

I'd have to say a Scarab, if that counts as a "who". Otherwise brutes. It's like fighting some sort of mutant ape-beast!

Metareview - Diddy Kong Racing DS

I gave DKR a shot on the N64 and thought it was a horrible, horrible, horrible game. When the reviews started coming in I was so dumbfounded that my nose started bleeding.

I'm honestly shocked that so many are showing up here claiming they liked it. I guess I was wrong, but man - I still don't get it. Wow.

Public transportation and GTA: Vice City Stories

"Wonder how much the life of a dead unarmed kid and his bullet filled dog are worth?"

Let's try to play it a little straight and leave the emotional manipulation to "them."

You could just as easily have questioned the worth of "a dead armed robber and his attack dog."

Neither is very useful for the reader.

Countering the arguement with "What about all the cops that kill gamers!?!?!!" is childish - not to mention completely senseless.

DIY-erless Wii sensor bar

Nov 26th 2006 8:47PM (Joystiq)
Forgive me if this is an ignorant question, but does this IR system mean that line of site is required?

What of games like Excite Truck where your hand would block the sensor on the front?

If you point it backwards (imagine a full bat or racket swing) does it lose track until it comes back into view?

Today's hottest game video: Wii-mote plus sweaty hands = SMASH

Maybe I'm just a crazy weirdo, but yes you DO need to swing the racket pretty hard in tennis - it isn't all about timing as someone suggested. I'm no pro, but come on - it's tennis not slapjack.

Now back to Nintendoland... maybe the guy just likes to make it as real as possible?

That said, I can't believe these remotes are flying out of people's hands like that... That would take a montrously lazy grip!

Metareview - Call of Duty 3

Hey jojo29 - regarding comment 13:

I'm not a grammar nazi, I'm really not, but you should really learn to appreciate the value of a well-placed comma.

For example: note the difference between "eat shit and sleep" and "eat, shit, and sleep."

Maybe you know what you were doing though, who am I to judge? :)
