yeah i agree, sucks but this is indeed the hard reality that most LOTRO veterans will have come to face sooner rather than later. That is RoI very very late release(2 yrs late in terms of content value ratio to subscribers) and not help with quality. Sucks? yepp. U invest all your $ and more importnatly your time to turbine all these years. as a return of investment turbine spent all effort on f2p overhall instead of core LOTRO hardcore players. Well this practice has been very common to most prime MMOs that has turned in to F2p, LOTRO isnt alone in neglecting their subscribers... but they are FAR and BEYOND leading them all. what a shame to be a LOTRO subs...almost as bad as LOTRO's f2pers being force to grind for standard content.

@arodriguezc welcome to current age of MMO business model. take it or leave it.. and seems like you're leaving so gl to your search as AoC content value / price cost ratio is actually better than most games out there.

@Dunraven... i got tired of the way Turbine f2p system forces players to grind and grind for turbine points just to purchase standard features that is already offered to most recent similarly high profile MMO f2p games. LOTRO f2p feature isnt #1 anymore.

I have no idea why i even tried to play LOTRO's f2p game of grinding your life away for regular features that comes out of the box from other f2p MMOs. One such recent game which does not force f2p players endure this life draining practice and ive just become a fan of is Age of Conan :P sure u can say Conan is the hot ticket item atm just as LOTRO WAS when it first came out as f2p.

and whats going on with the rapid fire of Age of Conan articles Jef?
Typically its the player base who's demanding more content, more content etc from their favorite mmo, luckily AoC fans its a reversed and instead players are overloaded with new material every few hours.
joke, Jef i feel slightly bad you are having to work to keep up instead of playing.

This game would benefit even more if it was to be offered in Steam Client. like Champion's online and forsaken world, global agenda, team fortress2, etc. imo AoC is 10 yrs advanced compared those games offer in steam but unfortunatly those same games are getting 10x more exposure than Age of Conan. AoC to Steam Who's with me?

Very good game, only tried the game recently and at first didnt not expect much only wanted to demo the game but now im very much trapped in the HQ dx10 sight and sound's game world.
Im now a fan and it would be great to see the game in STEAM's Free to play category.

Im playing this game right now and OMG its incredibly beautiful. I'm launched into another world experience. Very worth your time people. I cant talk much and want to get back to the game. BYEEEE
