I don't see why I should pay again for PSP games I already bought full price. If I buy a PS Vita, as of the retrocompatibility with the PSP, I expect to be able to travel with only one portable device, not two, and be able to play the games I own, PSP or Vita games likewise. What's the interest of a compact portable device if you have to carry two of them ?
I would have bought a Vita if the UMD passport program has been available. I will keep on playing on my PSP and Sony can keep their PS Vita for now, they will not get my money. I don't find the Vita line-up really interesting anyway.
I was about to start playing Kingdoms of Amalur but I am too much into SWTOR and enjoying it to play anything else. So it will be a TOR week-end for me.
As for the maximum monthly subscription fee for one MMO: I have never payed more than 15$ and got used to this barrier. So I will not pay more, especially as many monthly MMO subscriptions are now lower than 12$. As for a MMO adding a cash shop to a subscription fee as soon as launch (TSW I am looking at you), I am not sure to accept that and if I eventually accept and join the MMO, It'd better be extremely good for me to stay on the long run.
It will not be possible to get my money to buy your PS Vita portable console. You will still be able to consider changing your mind on this matter. But those marketing campaigns will be no use unless you stop constantly forgetting to give a little more respect to your clients.
We will miss you Rubi. Your passion for gaming and MMOs was very communicative. And how will we survive without your now worldwide known rants ??... ;-)
Anyway, so life goes. Quite often, living is moving on. So, I hope you the best with this new job opportunity.
@peyo01 No editing, grrrr... I just wanted to be sure not to be misunderstood. In my final sentence, they = FRC so, this last sentence is: "FRC should be if they were human beings..."
Reading my last sentence afterwards, I realized one could misinterpret that they = gay people. It is not what I meant, at all.
Well I am French and we have just the same Family Research Council here in France: this ugly alien entity is called "Familles de France". I will not be surprised if they go the same way about SWTOR. They are wellknown to classify all videogames as the devil incarnated. They think playing videogames drives our children to violent behaviors, making all of them future psychopath killers.
Hope they choke on their own sayings eventually (you see, they are right, I played too many videogames, I am a violent SOAB now with impulsive death thoughts).
It is embarrassing for us, French guys, as FRC is embarrassing for you fellow Americans. They exhibit a pretty astounding lack of tolerance and a lack of understanding of the world they live in and of the human diversity it comprises. Finally, they give a pretty dull image of us all, as a people.
I am straight and I will not use the same sex romance feature if implemented in SWTOR, but I find it absolutely right that all players could get sex romance the way they want. I can imagine gay people will not enjoy straight sex romance, just the way I would not enjoy same sex romance.
But you know, we should not be ashamed. They should be, if they were human beings with a heart beating in their chest.
