Just make sure what kind of accreditation the school has. If it is regionally accredited (sp), you can transfer your credits to a traditional university. If they are Nationally accredited, you probably can't.
I worked for DeVry University for a bit as an admissions rep. They have regional accreditation so you can transfer the credits to a public university and vice versa. Schools like ITT and Westwood probably have limited transfer of credits as they are nationally accredited. (I also worked at ITT)
Just an FYI. Be careful, do your research, and do not be pressured by the admissions reps. They just want you to spend your money and will tell you anything. Regional may sound smaller than National when it comes to that accreditation but it's not. Please just look for that.
Whenever I see these topics come up I go nuts. I hate to see people waste up to 80,000 dollars for basically nothing.
It also reminds me of when I worked at a dry cleaner during college. We would have our sale items posted outside. Sometimes it would say: "Sweaters $3.00" "Comforters $10.00" Wouldn't you know, every freaking time we had these sales, there would be morons that would in and ask to see our sweaters and comforters for sale. I would have to explain to them that we were a DRY CLEANER, NOT JC PENNEY.
Or, we would have the sale to clean sweaters and people would bring in a t-shirt and try to convince me it was a freaking sweater. Or that a pair of pants were shorts. Some people will do ANYTHING to try to rip you off. You people are those idiots.
typo, typo, typo. I saw a Corvette advertised at the local dealership for 400.00 instead of 40.000. I guess I can go down and get my brand new car because of the "bait and switch" right? I mean, I know that the period was in the wrong place and all. I also saw 100 lbs of hamburger for 3 bucks at the grocery store once. Sad thing is, people actually went to try to get it. The manager had to tell people, usually bitter old ladies, it was a MISTAKE in the ad.
Insider trading. Yes, and? Oh, yeah, Martha Stewart. Not. This is not a case of information that the public had no information about. You fucking moron.
Oh yes..."shady" stock trading. Idiot. It's his money, he can do what he likes with it. Just because he works for MS does not mean he has to invest all of his money into the company and never move it. Own any stock? Didn't think so. Hmmm, my company is having problems with their consoles failing.....maybe I should invest MORE money. Or, I could do the smart thing and take the money out and wait for the problems to subside.
There is a reason why this man is a millionaire and you are not.
"You all laughed and brushed off their efforts." What in God's name are you getting at? Just stop. Everyone who loves video games loves Nintendo. Some of us grew up on the nes and snes. We loved them for being a company that made video games. Now......Wiifit, plastic peripherals, mini games. Oh sure, another Mario, another Metroid, another Kart. Where are the new IP's?
Some of you people would rather blindly defend a company, lord knows why, then question some of their actions. If you are fine, as a gamer, the direction Nintendo is going, so be it. Many of us are not. You see a page like Joystic complain because they remember the good ol days of Nintendo. We are dissapointed because we want Nintendo to be what it once was, a video game maker. Not a mini game machine that occasionally releases a Mario game.
Exactly what I was thinking. Whenever something new comes out, all of a sudden, the old standard becomes the red headed step child. You see it all the time. Lord of the Rings Online is released, suddenly, WoW is a pile of crap an nobody plays it.
Heck, I think tony hawk project 8 is fun. I can't do those sick combos because I'm not that good. I like to skate around and just mess around doing some missions. The more games the better.
