Wii sells over 9 million, 1 million behind Xbox 360

Jul 19th 2007 1:45AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
The Xbox 360 has been out a year longer. It SHOULD currently have better games out than the Wii. The Wii hasn't even been out a year, but by the end of this year there will be plenty of good games on the Wii.

Best Buy, and broken Xbox 360s

Thus the reason I decided I'm only going to have a Nintendo Wii for this generation. A product I can trust NOT to break. All my systems from the oringal Nes to the current Wii work like a charm to this day.

Yeah, I found the lady's face at the end rather amusing to say the least.

Will consoles begin to overtake PCs now?

"2. NOTE: Picture not to scale"

Yeah, no kidding. They managed to pull off a little mircle by making the the Wii and it's controller seem the biggest of the three systems.

"14. The fact that the hardware companies pay for system exclusives pretty much reinforces this point. And not to nit-pick, but Eternal Darkness was on the Gamecube."

Maybe he meant perfect dark because that was a good first shooter.

Wii's TV debut tonight, bootleg on YouTube

@19 Le Guru

You do realize that the motion sensing Sony put into their controllers is very limited like it senses the tilting of the controller only. It is nothing close, in technological aspect, to the technology of motion sensing in the Wii's controller. In fact, at E3 most people didn't like Sony's motion sensing in the controller (everybody I heard said they didn't like it, but I'm assuming SOMEONE liked it). However, a lot of people liked the Wii controller at E3 with its motion sensing.

Comparing next week's PS3 and Wii launches

T-Bag:
You do realize how stupid or dare I say "kiddy" you are acting correct? I sure hope so because even PS3 fanboys can see that a mile away. You say a list of things about one console and then say it is bad. Then you list a bunch of other things about the other console and then say it is good. In both of these situations you are providing absolutely no to very little support (Only examples I have noticed that is legit is the multi window browser and more memory which both aren't that big of a deal.). Also, by the way, if you are trying to "enlighten" us to the "superior PS3" next time try actually saying reason why it is better and then back it up with something called cold hard facts. Lastly, notice how I am not really taking my side of one console or the other, this is because rhetoric skills (if you don't know the art of persuasion through words) are absolutely horrid. Literally as good as a 5 year old which is down right pathetic, no joke.

PS. As much as you would like this, your opinion on things is not considered as fact.
