I have been reading several comments here and I just want to point some stuff out. Altaïr is Asian. Period. The Middle East is in Asia, so no more "how about we go to Asia" crap. Secondly, if there is an Assassin's Creed game set in Japan, that doesn't automatically mean that it will be about ninja (the plural isn't "ninjas", it's still "ninja"). Ninja aren't the same thing as ordinary assassins. Thirdly, the American government is a Templar operation in the AC universe. If there'd be a game set during the Civil War, the Assassins would be on either the British's side or on no one's side.
