I hop onto my dashboard to look at the releases today -- two games, for free, with achievements even.

If sorta feels like theirs a disturbance in the Force....

IGN and GameStop forge partnership, combine traffic, learn the power of sharing

It's funny how much IGN gets ragged on when in fact they do review lower on average, telling me they're harder on games. And GameInformer frequently hands out higher scores than most other outlets.

Still, this worries me. Competition is good, there's good people and good writers and IGN and GameInformer and I would hate to see this partnership force some type of consolidation of talent.
