you are completely wrong, you could turn your xbox into a stand alone dedicated server for those games and you could not play. You would have to have a 2nd xbox and join your own sever if you wished to play on you own server.

I remember when USER dedicated servers were free even on xbox 1 cause you hosted them on your own xbox... Rainbow/Ghost Series and RTCW anyone?? All had user based dedicated server console support.

Now we have no user dedicated server support on consoles this generation and something else EA expects you to pay for.
