Holy freaking crap... Forget genetics, forget choice, and forget the nature vs nurture debate.

Kids kill themselves because who they want to be with is unacceptable to society. The exclusion of these types of positive relationships in all forms of media just perpetuates the idea that what they feel is "wrong", "sick", "perverse", etc...

So parents groups are concerned that their kid might play this game (filter what your kids play, you know... PARENT them) and catch "the gay".

The ridiculousness of that notion aside... So what? If honestly you, as a parent could choose to have a living, happy homosexual child, or a depressed, possibly dead one, which would you choose?
