Never mind the Dreamcast, I want to see a remake of the Saturn's magnum opus, Panzer Dragoon Saga.

I hope there's intentional irony in a blog complaining about having to read words off a screen in 5-10 minute bursts.

The Ars Technica perspective is an understandable one, but I for one am tired of the only new thing coming out of each continuing generation being marginally (to my eyes) better graphics.

The last big leap was from 2D to 3D, because that offered something that could change the very *nature* of games themselves. Everything since then has been the same old ideas, but with prettier pictures.

I'll take Wii's trying to do something that'll kick-start a bit of innovation in design, over the same-old FPS' on XBox 360 or shitty, pretty platformers on PS3, thanks.

Vaz is such a complete jerk - at least Jack Thompson has the decency to verbally abuse the company directly, which is closer to research than Keith "I read the blurb" Vaz will ever get.

I'd be well up for one o' thems, but not for $250 - even _with_ the savings I'd make over a regular phone.

Drop it to around $100, then we're talking.

I want to have this game's babies.

You know, I could *SWEAR* I've seen this before somewhere, but I can't remember where.

I'd take gameplay over graphics anyday.

I'd like to think that the UK release will see a similar disregard for street date, but I'm not holding out much hope for GAME here in Belfast letting them go early.

I tried to get Animal Crossing for my girlfriend the day before street date, but they wouldn't let me have it - despite the fact that they had dozens of boxes on the #2 shelf of their charts.

I spent a couple minutes arguing with the guy at the desk that if it's on the shelf and at #1 they must have sold some, surely. He told me that it wasn't for sale until the next day, and that I should have known that it wasn't for sale yet because quote, "it doesn't have a price sticker on it".

It didn't have a "coming soon" or release date on it either, though.

The seemingly endless delays on HL2:E1 made me stop following news of its progress - is it out this week for reals this time?

I'll have to grab it as soon as I'm paid, maybe.
