I wasn't too impressed with the demo, the graphics looked dated and gameplay derivative. I do reserve a right to be wrong though, at first I hated Dragon Age and thought Skyrim was boring.

Some discount, I preordered The Witcher 2 for 35€.

Didn't particularly enjoy Far Cry 2, I thought game lacked personality. I was never motivated to finish the game, it felt too much like mindless shooting. I actually think FPS's are at their best when they're scripted tunneling--F.E.A.R comes to mind--and even then they're not particularly ingenious. If I want to play an open-world, adventure-oriented game, I go play an RPG.

Thanks for telling us fans what we think about the game and its lead designer. I thought I liked the game, but I'm glad you set me straight.

I am fundamentally opposed to the concept of a DLC, but if you're going to have them, I'm glad they're making it free.

Not a fan of FPS deathmatching, but I think I'll download regardless and give it a try.

Oh my god, I think my brain just melted from how boring that song was.

I can't really remember any songs from the second game, whereas I can readily hum a bunch of tracks from ME1. The songs in the first game were atmospheric and memorable, a big part of why I think the mood in the first instalment was much better than in the sequel (not to say the sequel isn't the better game).

Would've liked reading more about the graphics engine, how it measures up to the one in the first instalment. Enjoyed the first one enough to get the game pre-ordered nonetheless.
