I too watched the show. It is very well done. I loved that a lot of the CS matches shown were between Team 3D & Col (Complexity). I didn't like how much exposure JT received, but since he's the mouthpiece of gaming dissent (read: Mouth of Sauron), it makes sense for him to represent that point of view. Anyway... I still feel like there's a slight disconnect between the mass media and actual gamers... but this show has bridged that gap a bit. The Syrian game looks like @$$, but since it's one of their 1st games, that's to be expected. What's most interesting is how video games have become a vital propaganda tool for every side of modern combat conflicts. Luckily, even though I love CS headshots with gushing blood, I still can't stand the sight of lots of real-life blood.
my x360 has been repaired 3 times now due to the 3 red lights ring of doom... while on the phone with xbox360 support. they had the audacity to tell me that in order for my console to be repaired again, I'd have to spend $140, not including shipping, because the paltry 3-month warranty had run it's short course since the previous "repair." I don't understand... does MS know what the word "repair" means. I'm inclined to sell my games and buy a Wii. Either that or wait for a class-action lawsuit against MS.
at #6... yeah... Donnie Darko made good use of that song, that's when I heard of it. I liked the movie. The tears for fears version is a little less somber.
