When 1up had a special unpacking of the legendary edition, it too contained loose discs.

The funny thing, though, is I think the guy opening it saw that it was loose, and he tried to immediately rush and put it back on the nub (because we all know 1up doesn't want anything Halo related to look bad).

So now its a black 360 controller?

If this is true, it seems like there applying the 360 controller's features to the PS3 controller, one similarity at a time (triggers for the R2 and L2 instead of buttons, rumble, and now an anolog stick up one floor and to the left of the right stick).

pfft, why the hell would they do that? so the price could change to somewhere near the price of a 360?

They need to hang onto their one main attraction, being a cheap console. They have nothing else to back them up, like lack of better graphics (i know there not a ps3 or 360, but give people something better than a gamecube port please).

What are you guys talking about? This version isnt "ELITE" at all. It doesnt even come with the 120 gig drive (see XBOX.com for the official rundown of what it comes with).

I find it pretty fucked up that the Wii, which is "primarily children based console" is outselling the Xbox which is "primarily teen/adult male console".

Well not outselling yet, but getting there.

oh yeah! that was my favorite mission! running up to little kids in GTA, opening my trench coat which was filmed to the brim with Porno Mags and Nudy Video Tapes. I made a lot of money that way...

im still in high, and im just wondering how do you guys plug into internet for live and stuff? do you have routers nearby?

i bought my wii on launch day, waited 4 hours in the morning and enjoyed it...at first. like you guys are saying, everyone i know enjoyed it. i showed parents, relatives, and all my friends. but honestly, it was a dissapointment. not even a month after and i am bored with it. im actually playing my 360 an extreme amount more. the wii may just be going through launch time suck-ness, but i am not happy. the games arent good (except for tp, which i beat and admit it was a terrific game). sports is just ok, and everything else sucks (i think the wii holds record to the worst reviewed games at launch with 71 percent average, a percent or two behind the ps3!

major warning to anyone thinking about buying it:
play it at a friends or anywhere you can to try it, try more than 3 of the games, then make your decision.

i think you guys made a nice list here, but i disagreed how you categorized the 360 as "for the gamer who hasnt jumped on board yet"

that is more, in my opinion, like the Nintendo Wii: for people who dont really like or play games much.

To me, the 360 is for people who are hardcore into gaming, especially in the online sense. Games like Gears and R6 arent really for people who are not sure about gaming, but wii is more like that by far.
