@Mcmax3000 Except...I want to be able to own my games. So I want to go to the store and buy a physical copy. That way, I "own" the game, instead of being leased a licence to play it like Steam does.
@(Unverified) The problem isn't them running out of space. The problem is that they don't get enough customers. They are going under, and so they can't afford to pay Ubisoft for their games. Game just doesn't want to say that out loud, as it is bad PR.
@dsp4 Maybe because some games DON'T need the update? I imagine that one-player games don't need an update. Also, after JUST THIS ONCE, you will always know that that one button means there is an update. So, really, you are only slightly inconvenienced just this once, and as long as your brain can retain a bit of information, you won't be inconvenienced again. I don't see what's the big deal here.
@(Unverified) The reason they are complaining is because of the fact that Sony and the Devs are cutting out the middleman, saving on shipping/packaging/game card costs, and there is no way to return the game or sell it used and they only offer a $5 discount on new games. The reason most people choose Steam rather than going out and buying PC games if because Steam offers up to 75% discounts on some games, and they can do that because of the same reasons stated. Plus, most of these people complaining are future PSV owners, if you look. Most are talking about buying the physical copy of a game, and they wouldn't do that unless they liked the PSV in the first place.
@morikaweb No, actually, most retailers give you a chance to return a game within a specified amount of time. I think GameStop gives you 10-14 days to return your game for a full refund if you want. They have to do it, because it is under BBB law (at least, I think it is under BBB law...).
