@commonperson @Guibs What? That makes absolute perfect sense that you wouldn't be able to do that. Because steam installs everything for you, it has to have control of where things get saved, what structure they get saved in etc etc. If it doesn't have control of the game you are trying to buy an expansion to, its not going to let you buy it, because neither you nor it are going to be able to do anything with it. And then you would be pissed off at Steam for letting you buy something you can't do anything with.

(In case you haven't noticed, buying something off Steam doesn't give you install files)
