I have to agree, thats a bit OP. For classes like Warlocks, there's no defense. There's no point in running from them anymore because they can outrun you. Best you can do is stand there and AoE spam and hope to get them. Lucky for me I dont have rogue problems. They poke at my plate til I notice them then they run away.
I always find myself going back to Paladin. It's been my favorite class for a long time though its taking some heavy blows in the nerf department and I'm becomming more and more frustrated by it but every time I play another class I just want to go back to my Pally. It might just be because I put so much more work into it (Achieves, Gear, Levels, Professions) than my other classes tho. Pre cata, when I had multiple 80's I enjoyed my Priest A LOT more but I love tanking which is why I 85'd Pally first.
All those 30+ minute queue's are about to get longer because they just pushed me away from being a Paladin and I'm sure I'm not the only person who is furious about these changes. Patch after patch they Paladin gets nerfed with no compensation. I don't even want to play it anymore.
I think to some point when Blizz implemented this stuff they were looking to balance the class as a whole. For instance, Shaman is easily one of the best DPS classes in the game (you can argue this point but in my experience, Shaman are usually higher on the DPS list than Rogues, sPriests and Hunters) in either Elemental or Enhancement spec and on top of that, they can tear a Paladin or Priest apart if they play well. Where you have Paladin lacking in the DPS field, Shaman excels. Where you have Shaman lacking in some components of healing that Paladin excels in, Shaman excels in DPS and I'm just speaking as a class as a whole. None of the hybrid classes are excellent in any of their secondary roles otherwise there would be more Druids around.
I dont like that I hate not having a priest heal me when I'm tanking just as much as I don't like struggling to keep up in DPS as Ret (because it mostly depends on Procs still) but I understand what Blizz was likely going for and I don't think will ever likely be perfect in the way we think they should be. Such is WoW.
@thisredengine And being aware, this is why I dont buy Activision's games. All the series that I liked (though few) they ran into the ground and at this point I dont even bother looking at their titles anymore. Because if its good and it gets popular it will be ran into the dirt and then canceled.

That was all I needed to read. There are so few people out there that don't understand the importance of just being a distraction. As a Prot Pally in PvP I can last a good 20-30 seconds against 10 players if I use my CD's (and engeneering tinkers) correctly and in one TB case, I think the amount of people chasing were so distracted on killing me that they forgot to move on to the next base and we won within 5 minutes of the start. While I'm not saying this win was just because of me, all the people chasing me into a nonsense area pulled defenses away from where it was needed. I only wish more people played to help their team instead of just trying to get kills.
If I were in your shoes I would leave. What is happening to you is not acceptable and it looks like they don't appreciate YOU (or any other members for that matter) but their classes. That annoys me to no end.
I play a Prot Pally with Ret off spec. After I geared Prot very well I started playing Ret. All my guild ever asks me to do when we run heroics is tank, its understandable but we have a very well geared DK that can do it just as well. I only bring this up at all because when I play Ret, I out DPS that DK 8 times out of 10 (when we both DPS). That may sound unlikely but it's true. Ret isn't horrible and it just annoys me that they look at the class and say "you're doing this" and never even offer you a choice no matter how good a member u have been.
My reccomendation would be to do something similar to what I did when leveling my multiple toons becuase especially after the first or second, PvE tends to get boring: PvE for 2-3 levels and PvP the last two in the tier. For example: 60-63 I will do PvP and the 63-65 I would PvP. I do this because I'm at the top of the PvP tier and not at the bottom (60-62) where I'm getting smashed by better geared players.
80+ this is even more important. A level 82 player with around 64k HP wont last very long against someone who is 64 and already topping 100k. That and BG's can be very fun if you actually are doing the objectives. If you play BG's just to kill other players, it will suck because you will most likely be running around alone while the rest of your team does the objectives and you wont get nearly as many kills or honor points as you might think you should.
I only do a grats when its meaningful. I will congradulate you when you complete "Glory Of The Hero" but I will not do so when you do "Can I Keep Him" especially for players I KNOW are on Alts. because at that point its not even an achievement. Its just something you did to do.
