@Suichimo Just because you don't find it a problem, doesn't mean that it will be the same for other people not everyone can afford to have games that leech bandwidth. You forget that people can be such dicks that they dont even have to hack to game to make it un-enjoyable to play.
With single player my friends and I learned to play the game so when we made battle.net chars, we did not get frustrated and quit because we knew to skip the crappy skills and invest points more effectively. Its like playing cod, wow, or nfs and realizing that your connection sucks instead of you. Plus, the security policies that blizzard follow will most likely emulate so many other systems that suspect you of cheating and blocks you from sighing in while real hackers will go unopposed and hump your dead body in town while they spam trashtalking, its still a problem for diablo 2, and that game has been updated and patched for ten years.
God only knows how much bandwidth you are supposed to output for you to stay connected for longer that five minuets before they dump you back at the menu. Instead of actually working to protect their work and perfecting a ten year project, they simply rip stuff out that is standard for most games, most likely alienating the people who knew the franchise at its greatest, shortening its life.
@ShokLoc Does any one know if media go is set for an update soon? Id rather not attempt to get 2 games and a movie off of a psp that uses a wireless "B" card when I have my PC running an "N" card on my LAN. Besides the matter of before the hacker thing happened, It would reset my connection because it took too long to download god of war (1.2gb).
Correct, hulu plus requires a subscription and will probably have an activation code just like Netflix does to activate use on Xbox.
Hulu plus seems a ripoff to me, why would I spend that much ($8/month) for a handful of reruns I could have DVR'ed/taped at home? A case could just as easily be made for movies, but is tv episodes 22 minuets long that important to warrant for that much of a subscription? I could rent with Game-fly for three individual 80+ hour games for that much, or wait for Netflix to carry to season disks and watch them all at once. Is watching some poorly written and cheesy as hell CBS or FOX show that important?
the least they could do is throw that crap away, and port the original game, that game better be three year long in story, because every other corner looks cut in that mess.
I would say I will wait for the Big pack to come out with all the DLC and whatnot, but Id probably end up going against that and buy without thinking. Besides black ops, fallout:nv is the only game out right now that I am totally interested in playing, but yet to do so. I dont remember fallout3:goty edition coming out for pc, did they come out with that? If they didn't, I might lean toward the pc version of new vegas, and just download the DLC when I buy it online... they just better come out with multiplayer the next one...my achievements don't mean diddly to my friends.
