What do you mean? You can change it to Hardcore at any time... Unless you mean going back to the start of the game, well, just make a new character?

Well said, and I will assume from your lack of bug encounters that you're playing it on the PC version?

The majority (websites and consumers) have said the only /really/ bad things about it are the bugs (which can be fixed) and the aging engine (which may not even be a bad things to some people, I personally think it's a fine engine for the game).

It's Fallout 3 with more "stuff". Maybe less compelling story, but it certainly has more things to do.
