Does MS not communicate with the Canadian consumer. Clearly when it comes to online pricing strategy they do not understand the market. This is American ignorance at its best.

40GB with no ps2 compatibility! Guess all of a sudden backwards compatibility means nothing to Sony!

Clearly the PS3 is the problem here as it's only been demoed on 360 so far. It's too bad we have to pay for R* need for a simultaneous release. We already know 360 is the "definitive GTA experience", so why delay.

Read between the lines people. There is a reason its only been demoed on 360 so far.

Folks just heard the news, GTAIV will slip until 2008 because they cannot get it running on ps3 and have pushed both 360 and ps3 to remain a simultaneous ship.

Coop campaign would be ideal. Does anyone even know if the single player campaign can be played cooperatively - hopefully with the story intact (unlike RB6)?

First off for those who are dissing the game, that's fine, it's your opinion, but lets maintain some logic in the comments. I read posts and sometimes I wonder if they really played the game and enjoyed it/or not for what it is vs what game its not. Is this GTA no - and it doesn't want to be (Dave Jones already did that). Is it Saints Row - no that was a GTA ripoff. Is it Lost Planet - uh...? You get the point. So what is it? It is an open world game with a cool art style, sick draw distance, sick destruction, great use of physics, and some genius level design that introduces the vertical component with meaning into the sandbox genre. Can you jack cars, sure, but you may never need too since you can level up your powers. Folks this is what this game is about, the insatiable urge to level up your agent so that a simple grenade can cause catatrophic destruction, or to finally make the ledge that you just kept missing by a fraction. If you don't like blowing thinks up, or sniping an enemy as you jump 10 stories over a building then don't bother playing. The fact that this game can be coop with no limitations on either character in such a huge world is a technical marvel and worthy of the "next gen" moniker. 'Nuff said. Just play the demo and decide for yourself...back to "crack"...down.

I can confirm Canada got the update as well. A quick scan of the tabs showed no changes so I am not sure what it did.

Bungie's meticulous approach to character design means we will all hailing H3 as Bungie's greatest game yet. It looks like we can all rest easy, and patiently wait until the next entry of the 360's greatest franchise is released on us in '07

B33 please stop waisting our time with your posts. It's great that you are a fanboy, but that alone does not give you the right to post nonsense. 400k did not ship. The article is correct. Canada got less that 15k units for the whole country. Beneath the hype lies the truth, even B33 will some day see that.
