I'm sorry, guys. But this actually happened to me. In fact, I had only been playing with Wii Sports for a couple of hours. I was playing baseball, and I was pitching (with the controller that came with the box, as opposed to the extra one that I bought). I decided to see what would happen if I swung the controller around the strap like a lasso, and see how fast that ball would go.
When I did so, the wristband snapped and the controller flew forward into the projector TV (about ten, fifteen years old) and broke the plastic front. It's still watchable, but you would have to ignore the giant cracks to the side.
Call BS on me if you want, but this is true. I'm hoping these incidents are isolated, and from what I have read in the comments, it seems that they are.
I will post a picture of broken TV and controller + strap if requested.
This is just pure genius. The PS3 is region-free, so the should work internationally, as well. You could buy them from anywhere in the world.
However by introducing that much more units into the grey market, he's going to start devaluing them, though. Not much of a problem for him, but for those entrepreneurs buying one or two and selling them online, they'll be finding a much lower price than expected.
