Wow, so this is news to me....if you buy a ps3 for Bluray and you don't have a 1080p tv you are basically looking at a $600 progressive scan dvd player?

Wow, just wow. There is a CG ending to the game. After that the credits roll with normal music and then after awhile, to keep you watching the credits and reading the quotes by the team...they toss in an easteregg of sorts and ppl bitch. For those unaware, Cole is voice acted by the guy that played the role of Terry Tate Office Linebacker for Reebok commercials. Go grab those videos off YouTube, watch em, now listen to the song and its just comedy imo. I sat through the whole credit list with my co-op partner and laughed like hell. How many of you actually read the credits anyhow???? I see this as no different than the Deckard Cain Rap that Blizzard put out awhile back and everyone loved it.

Is it just me or is all of this pretty pointless as RS: Vegas comes out in a week on both systems? I mean if it is half as good on PS3 as it is on the 360 then its going to blow RFOM away =p.

Well...I'm not sure how long RFOM has been in development. Gears was in development before the 360 launch so depending on what you want to call first gen or 2nd gen game.... I'm sure RFOM and GoW were probably in development for the same amount of time and both company's first release on said platform. All I am saying is using the "Its a launch title" thing is not really valid. Since the Playstation 3 got pushed back basically a year, of course its launch titles 'SHOULD' look better than the 360's.
