Has to be getting a game you've been waiting for then playing it with gamers in the family while the rest socialize, works for me.

I might buy this one, I used to enjoy it for nintendo I believe it was.

They should make an XBLA version of river city randsom, pretty good game for online coop.

Games on more than one disc: do you care?

In reply to #34 about the HD DVD addon for games. Aren't games rendered using hardware anyways, what's the difference between pulling the files off the DVDROM or the HDDVD unit? Unless the USB cable is that much slower than the SATA cable.

Maybe HD DVD's require that much more decoding to interpret data in HD DVD format compared to DVD but I would be inclined to think its just another storage device for the 360 to pull data from.

I don't know either, just my guess.

I also don't see a problem with it. I would rather they give us more content than chose not to just to satisfy lazy gamers.

Will it EVER be possible for the HD DVD player to run games? Anyone know for sure?

Japanese Lost Planet bundle with HDMI? [update 1]

It's not JUST another way to connect to your TV, it would possibly also allow those of us without VGA capable TV's to upconvert standard DVD's to 720p or 1080i...

Plus HDMI often provides a cleaner, sharper picture than its analog counterparts, but mainly the upconverting aspect for me.

How-To: Turn a standard Xbox 360 video cable into a VGA cable for make benefit your wallet

Cool hack, nice to see people trying the homebrew stuff!

With this or one of those $20 VGA cables for the 360 will it upconvert normal DVD's to 720p or 1080i (what my tv supports). I've read that with the fall update only VGA connections will upconvert standard DVD's to higher resolutions.

I would have to go from VGA to DVI to HDMI unfortunately but would the 360 think I'm using VGA and then allow upconverting?

Thanks allot.
