@Robborboy You think because they put it in the fineprint that it's not Bullshit? I wasn't arguing law, I was arguing decency!
@kazD It's all about brand awareness. They are not so much as selling you the product as they are trying to make the brand solicit warm fuzzy feelings inside you. Nobody ever thinks they are influenced by marketing, but I assure you it's influence on us all is massive. It's a form of mind control.
@styleznma The Microconsole is amazing, gets a sharper image and less control latency. And the controller feels great. Easily as good as a 360 controller.
@The Only Girl - My apologies that I wasn't clearer. I meant that OnLive is a better use of streaming cloud gaming technology. It can be used to demo games though, as many people do use it for that.
@jinxvorheeze - First of all you should re-read what you wrote and reconsider who is the troll. The entire tone of your post is belligerent.
While I admit my haste in posting I was unclear in stating that I thought OnLive was a much better use of the technology. I hardly think my post warranted your venom.
As for my comment on "any system", again I must concede that I should have be clearer, my crime here was trying to post a quick thought and not expecting the Spanish Inquisition.
What I meant was any PC without installing, and the ability to continue where you left off. Also coming later this year you will be able to play on Android and iDevices.
OnLive is a lot better, tiny client to install on a PC, play on Amy system you own or the amazing micro console (free with most pre-orders) tons of games free to try and amazing prices to buy. Also has the second best online system on a games console.

Nov 8th 2011 1:32PM (Joystiq)Being reported all over by those that have the game early. Installing game to HDD causes HD textures not to load.
Playing from disk or USB seems to be better, but even happens there sometimes too.
Only way to fix is to clear your cache. But some claim the issue still comes back after a while forcing another cache clearing.
THIS needs to be patched!

Sep 15th 2011 12:39PM (Joystiq)I paid for this game, not some ad space for you to sell!
Now I'm glad I play this while not connected to Live, something I'll be doing more often if this becomes a trend.

Jun 21st 2011 10:43PM (Joystiq)Duke Nukem Forever review: Fail to the King, Baby
Jun 10th 2011 12:57PM (Joystiq)Fact is the game design feels old. And even after 14 years it feels rough around the edges, and the graphics look dated.
But it's Duke and it's not awful. If you liked Duke Nukem, enjoy the humour and are willing to accept something that feels dated. It's a blast.
I can't recommend people spend $50+ on it though.
But for those that REALLY want to like/enjoy this game. You should find enough to be happy.
Now I just hope we get a new Duke game built in a new engine and polished to play like a game from this era.
