Tow driver takes Playstation 3 from fatal wreck

Feb 14th 2007 3:54PM (Joystiq)
name wins this thread for the laugh-inducing "GAH! WALKING HOLE!" comment. That was so unexpected I laughed out loud at work. Thank you.

Also, the driver is an idiot.

Newly enhanced Wiimote coming this summer?

Why wouldn't Nintendo simply release a rechargeable battery pack that includes a rubberized battery compartment cover.

Then they make money off everyone with a Wii Remote, and no issue with a v2 so soon.

The second Xbox 360 (with HDMI): introducing "Zephyr"

@110

Could they not just make an adapter? One side plugs into the 360 A/V output, the other side accepts a standard HDMI cable.

This would allow the standards to be adhered to for HDCP over HDMI, unless I'm missing something. Also, it allows MS to generate revenue from the adapter (which could be packaged with an Xbox360 branded standard HDMI cable for more profits).

That's what I'd do anyway.

Could someone fill me in on where these other axes came from? Last time I did any three dimensional (3D) rendering, there were only 3 axes (X, Y, and Z) used to define space.

Am I missing something here?

How the Wii stole Christmas, or vice-versa

I feel the need to clarify. My previous comment was not a slight toward the blog poster or the posting itself.

It just seemed obvious to me that a multitude of little points of heat (IR) would probably cause an IR sensor to react to them.

Of course, having read the comments on this site for some time now, it should have been equally obvious to me that there are plenty of people who probably don't know that heat=IR. ;)

I have to agree with vidGuy.

If you can use two candles to replace the sensor bar, what do you expect to happen with a couple hundred 'candles' off to one side? I mean, really....

I gave my vote. What the heck, why not?

And what's up with comments disappearing? I saw "Comments[3]", but when I got in here there was only one. Are people leaving comments that are that bad?
