To the most of my knowledge it doesn't affect framerate. The only reason why the textures have to be installed is because
A) there wasn't enough room on a standard DVD, and ...
B) Frostbite 2 requires HDD to stream textures because disc based media's transfer rates are too slow fro the engine.
You shouldn't see a decrease. DICE made it so the game runs a constant 30 frames no matter what (well, unless there is a butt ton of explosions going on at once)

I think it actually equates to around $300+ after you buy all of the toys. If I am not mistaken, there are specific areas you can go to in the game with only certain toys. Maybe that makes it longer than 8 hours?

P.S. It may have talked about this in the review, but I only glanced at it

Nintendo doesn't require you to buy DLC and have online passes to get the complete experience from their games.
Just wanted to throw that out there...
That's actually one of the main reasons I still like them as a company

Much like Ratchet & Clank, the Joystiq staff is "Going Commando"

Brother works in the gaming department at Best Buy, so I got one of those midnight release codes to get this DLC for free even though I bought the game at Gamestop.

I got the Consul's Car, The Naked City, The Badge Pursuit challenge, and this DLC. Guess I don't need the Rockstar pass... well at least until that weed DLC comes out

I remember last year he started talking about Uncharted 2 randomly on his show saying it was his favorite game. The funny thing is he said the game was too long and never got around to beating it.

In all fairness the 3D trailer offered either 3D on or off. There was no way to adjust the 3D to your preference. So maybe when you get the game you will be able to adjust the 3D to a level that suits you better.
