Sorta. You could input lag values like the "Manual Mode" in Rock Band, but it didn't have a program in it that calculated it for you, so it was a trial-and-error mess. Still a baffling omission.

Having played both t o completion I would take Shadows over Uncharted 3 any day of the week.

The only person obligated to play Skyward Sword is the person who reviewed it. The other staff members have their assignments, and in the rest of their game time will play whatever they find most appealing. Having only played the first few hours of Skyward Sword, I find it slow, pedantic, and frustrating. I have to think some staff members felt the same, and with so many great games available, why put your time into something that pushes you away just because the name and pedigree tell you you're supposed to like it?
