Nintendo Wii - Urine the game!


I wouldn't base my buying on the name of a consol so I know I'll be getting one of these anyway, but how could they miss the obvious jokes with this.

isn't that what the whole next gen is about though? 2 companies are focusing on advanced hardware, graphics, huge worlds and all the bells and whistles while nintendo is focusing on bringing gaming to a wider audience and making enjoyable games. I love a pretty game as much as anyone but if it looks cool with nothing more, then what's the point of spending the millions to develop it. If it's a good game, people will pay for it. If they pump out bad games then people are going to expect them to be cheaper.

Even if nintendo puts out games lacking voice dialogue and shnazzy effects, I for one feel $34.99(or the 39-49 i pay in canada) is well worth it for games that I, and others I know play over and over and years down the road. that's what makes a game special. It's the same price as going to the movies twice and you get more than 4 hours out of it.

But this is the good thing about having multiple companies. We can choose. If the nintendo way isnt the right way, people won't buy it.

I'll have all 3 consoles because I like fun games and pretty games and bells and whistles and because no one seems to want to make both yet. But in the end I bet my gameboys and ds's will still get more use because the games are fun and $34 for years of fun is well worth it.

game looks amazing and I'll be getting it day 1.


to #7, to me, looks like someone who hasn't spent a whole lot of time playing mario games and not some tactical type of playing. timing of the jumps, missing when trying to jump on enemies, just looking at them trying to jump out of the quick sand 2000 times trying to get to the flower is enough to tell me that. my opinion at least but I'm looking at the game rather than the player anyway.

also, the level isn't short, it just takes you to another section like so many other mario games.

"it would have been better if your play field was on the bottom screen and the others are at the top. Why waste a whole screen on something useless? if they would have it that way i would buy it but like this i'm not"

If you look at the first picture and compare the board on the bottom half with the board marked as #1, they are the same so you are playing on the bottom screen, but it also shows you in the top screen with the other 9 players.

"i dont see why player 2 or 8 have lost, anyone know why?"


I would guess that since the screens of those 2 players arent at the top, they must have disconnected from the game to have lost.



As a Yahoo! Towers addict and a tetris junkie I must say I can't wait for this game. If you like multiplayer, give yahoo towers a try at yahoo games. Similar game with added hazzards.
