Yeah, mine definitely has no scratches of any kind on the top screen. Does every 3DS have the two little feet on both sides at the top of the inside of the console? Those seem to hold the screen just above the area of doom...

I got it launch day.
My girlfriend has the Zelda 3DS.... I know what you're talking about but I definitely don't see the issue. I'll have to give my 3DS a close look later today.

I was on a different site earlier (Imagine that) and had that same thought when reading peoples comments on rumored Wii U specs.

no wai it wil haf gooder grafix den xbox 360 it haz teh bezt grafix ne1 can evr make.

Oh and one that was someone telling someone else that Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U had the same graphics engine and the Wii U only looked better because it was cleaned up because of the HDMI Output.

Super Nintendo had one of those too. Well, it was in development. It's called a Playstation 3 now.

It doesn't need them, they aren't required. They are there to improve the game play if you so choose to use them. Also, the sweet spot is where any normal person would hold the console when playing it anyways. I've always held my portables right where the 3DS manual says to hold it.

Wii U appears to be a stunning product, and the 3DS is.
