As soon as I saw the word "Activision," I lost all interest.

It's unheard of to have an executive say things like this. They're usually too hung up on control, while running a company into the ground with their business-school training, thinking that creating a culture of fear and paranoia among their employees will make them more productive.

It's good to see that at least one has a clue.

Hah.. "Pretty, hard-ass soldier chick" Sounds like an oxymoron if I ever heard one. That's the only type of carbon copy, cookie cutter character that Square seems able to come up with. Don't even get me started on the costume design. Their formula seems to be "cover the bases with every color of the rainbow... and spiky hair." Only the twist this time? Baby chocobos.

More power to you if you like that sort of thing, but I can't be bothered when other games out there do so much more with the genre, while also managing to deliver characters that aren't completely ridiculous. I mean, the reviewer here didn't even start to reasonably enjoy the game untl 15 hours in. That's unacceptable by my standards.

But hey, I'm not a hater. To each their own. Just isn't for me.

God, I wish this series would just die already. When games like Mass Effect 2 exist, there is no reason to even bother with any game having the words "final" and "fantasy" in the title. Square needs to hire people who know how to tell a good story, design cool characters and create fun, engaging gameplay that isn't monotonous or outright boring. Seriously, baby chocobos living in your hair? Really? PASS.

I really wish people would stop dropping the Bioshock name every time they want to associate anything good to a game. Bioshock did alot right, sure, but it did alot wrong, too. IMO, it got way more fanfare than it deserved, (Just like GTA 4, which I didn't finish, due to lack of interest.) Not that it didn't deserve any, but it's nowhere near the be-all, end-all of what makes a game remotely good. I couldn't finish the game at first, due to sheer lack of wanting to play it on the first play through, but I willed myself to finish it. I have no intention or desire to play through it again. Not my thing, I guess, and nothing against anyone who loves it, but like I said, the Godfather of good games it most certainly is not.

Batman is an awesome , well-balanced game, and I couldn't put it down when I started playing. It held my attention through both normal and hard difficulty settings and I played every single challenge map, which still gives me incentive to play, even now. I can't say that about Bioshock. If people want to drop names of games that exemplify what is great about gaming today, they should mention the likes of Infamous, Portal, Half-Life 2, Little Big Planet, Gears of War, Ninja Gaiden, and of course classics like Zelda and Mario. Bioshock just wasn't a very rewarding game for me.

I just wish someone would make a good Ninja Turtles game. Ubisoft has proven they are completely incapable, and that's a shame, being that there's so much awesome gameplay potential with the ninja turtles.

That's ok. All Wii's are black... when the lights go out!

Man, I was JUST about to take my PS3 version back and get the 360 version so I could get the DLC. No more need for that now. Awesome.

They would have to do this thing during lunch hour... when I'm eating.. not at wendy's.

So I see it isn't just me who think that 95% of these costumes look utterly ridiculous. With a minor exception to Ryu's and Chun Li's, which are still weak in comparison to the originals. Not wasting money on this. LOVE the game, though.
