I don't play games on my PSP. My kids watch videos on it around the house and when we're on the go. The damn thing is indestructible, much more durable than a portable DVD player.

It usually takes a number of minutes for the video to be converted, post-upload, for presentation on youtube. This is normal.

Stupid question: am I the only person buying this because it's an awesome game, (based on my evaluation of the demo) and not for the trophies?

I did the exact same thing a few months back after I got my 4th RROD. It wasn't the shoddy hardware that drove me away, it was the absolute refusal of Microsoft to provide me with sufficient customer support.

No, I do not want to wait for my console to be repaired, I BOUGHT A BRAND NEW console. Yes, I want my DLC to work on the new console ($200+).

When they rolled out what essentially amounted to "If you can afford another console, you can afford to buy the DLC again," I gave brand new xbox360 to my brother and bought the PS3, RB, COD4, The Show (and all of the RB DLC again) and I haven't looked back.

Not only did I do it in time for MGS4, I finally got to play MLB The Show. Best $1000 I ever spent.

I skipped the update at first, as I was in a rush to get the Backyardigans (off of my Upnp server) playing for the spawn so I could shower.

To my horror, the video player wouldn't play anything at all, saying a media update was required to play this file (which has been played about 500 times already).

That's a pretty crummy thing to do, but I suffered through the 10 second download and all was well.
