Guys, the $10 a day laserdiscs was a joke - it's a dead media format that no longer is in mass production.

I'm pretty sure only the people who still play this competitively will purchase this new DLC. I don't see many casual players willing to purchase another map pack.

Apple does own the tablet market right now, and with the current price point of the Xoom that will not change. However their will always be those who prefer to buy products like the Xoom, maybe Goonie has a good reason to own one rather than an iPad.

digital distribution isn't a scam. Have you purchased any digitally distributed games via Steam? Often sales are run (albeit not on new releases, but still on quality games) and I find it hard to believe you'd find many people who say Steam is "scamming" gamers. XBL games on demand is very much in an infancy stage still and I don't judge it yet because I don't believe the people running it have an idea of digitally distributed games. In time I believe digital copies of games on consoles will outpace brick and mortar sales, perhaps within the next console generation (larger capacity HDD, high speed internet , etc.)

I've avoided MC because I'm sure it would suck me into hours of play - but it's so incredible to see the creations inside the game.

Incredibly sad news. I'm frustrated seeing these cuts and studio closures.
