Agreed - I've never actually finished gears after I scratched my disc half way through a cut scene - you never know I might get away with it if I install the game.

This must be a deal if it's in the uk and is still showing up on fanboy... The PS3 does keep coming down in price, but every time, the 360 goes one better. Screw the rest of the world - 360 FTW in the UK & US.

Seriously that is bull that they haven't even started on it yet - even if they haven't then the bulk of the work is done. Porting a PC game only to the 360 without the PS3 holding it up will only take a few months.

Jesus Christ!!!! Those scans are the best I've seen yet - the mobile base/tank/troop carrier looks sooooo cool. Is there armour customisation for elites as well? Think I see a human flying vehicle as well - roll on Sept!!!!!!!!!

I'm just glad to see that they are actually making things free which previously cost money - with Halo 3 coming out soon I was worried they were going to make you pay for everything unlike Halo 2 where after time all the downloadable content became free... What's with the price remaining constant on arcade titles aswell - surely they can give geometry wars away for 200 points now or something like that.

Ditto about holding off on the HD-dvd drive - I'm quite happy to just rent stuff at the moment as HD-dvd's are so expensive compared to regular dvd - I know I couldn't justify buying any hd-dvds for £15-£20 when I pick up most of my DVD's for £6-7

Surely the Elite is going to come in at £299 - year I know it's not much more expensive than the Premium. But with the premium there's rampant bundling and you'd be a fool to pay RRP.

Can anyone remember what happened with 'xbox burnt my house down'. I'd never had a problem with my box but they e-mailed me and said to check the serial number of my box - it matched with something on their list so they sent me a new cord straight out. That was great customer service and I mailed them to compliment them on the service. 1st 360 bought June 06 in the UK - still going strong. Just a few weeks ago the d-pad stopped working on one of my pads - just took it back to the shop and they pulled a brand new pad down off the shelf - straigh swap no probs.
