@Oblyvion I wouldn't call it a justification so much as a "not a big deal." I can see wishing there was a power on/off button on the remote, but to actively gripe about it? The point is that it's not a particularly big deal and certainly not worthy of saying "OMFG SONY!! WHY NO POWER BUTTON!!!"

I think Microsoft is going a little nuts with this tech..... Hopefully it gets a lot better. As it stands it's only "ok."

I don't remember Ultima VIII being bug ridden at all, it was just completely different than Ultima VII and considered a disapointment because it was more "action" oriented than the previous game.

The disaster you're thinking of was Ultima IX. That game seemed awesome, but unfortunately was pretty much impossible to play because of how broken it was. I purchased the Dragon edition and sadly never got more than 15-20 minutes into it because of bugs...

So Notch trademarks the name "Scrolls." A few years later Bethesda releases Elder Scrolls 6. Notch says 'Hey, I own the trademark to Scrolls.... can't use that!" Bethesda goes to court, the court says 'You should have defended it back when they tried to trademark the name Scrolls. Change your game's name...."

Not really their fault. The laws suck. They should be more like books/movies.

I picked it up for $12 off of GreenManGaming.com and can't say it's that big of a deal to me.

I can run it at 1080p on my TV and play it with my Xbox controller while sitting in front of my TV. It is essentially the Xbox game but better looking. Works for me.

I kind of see this as a "bite sized" game and am sure I'll get my $12 worth out of it. I just don't see it as that big of a deal (I say that because I haven't run into any game-breaking bugs which would change my tune.)All that said, I won't buy a full-priced Ubisoft game for PC based on this experience. I get pickier the more money I spend.

I loved the first game. Can't wait.
