Nov 23rd 2011 3:24PM (Joystiq)Yeah, that's a great example pic. However, in my example, the analog stick is coming out of the top, crown part of the head, which I think makes it a little easier for people to grasp.
I wish people who bitched and moaned about how people who need inverted Y should shut up and adapt would just visualize the analogy first and realize that they are the ones doing it unnaturally. (Not that I would chastize anyone for this.)

Nov 23rd 2011 3:07PM (Joystiq)It doesn't make sense to you because you aren't able to visualize your head as an analog stick. Let's reverse it... pretend you are looking at a controller, and instead of a right analog stick, there's a tiny little version of your own head. Now let's say your thumb is on top of your head, as it would be if you were playing Splinter Cell HD. You want to look down. Which way do you move your thumb to make your tiny head look at the floor? (HINT: The answer is 'up'.) If you can't visualize this, I don't know what to tell you.

Nov 23rd 2011 2:37PM (Joystiq)You proved my point... i your head were an analog stick resting upon a controller, and you pushed it towards the floor, you would be pushing up on the analog stick that is your head.

Nov 23rd 2011 2:23PM (Joystiq)Put your thumb on top of your head and pretend it's an analog stick. Which direction do you have to push your head to look at the floor? If you said 'down', you're the one with the broken brain.

Sep 30th 2011 1:57PM (Joystiq)Yeah, and they said a patch would take 6-8 weeks to complete. (They didn't say they were working on one, though.) That was 8 weeks ago, so theoretically, there could be one coming out sometime soon, no?
