God I want both of these games, SFxT and TxSF. I'm a fan of both franchises and the more I read/see/hear about both versions the more I want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want, want!!!!
1) Without a doubt, older models will get a firmware nerf to break component out. That is how Sony works.
2) HDMI is nothing more than component a/v with DRM built into it. I avoid HDMI as much as possible. I hate it as much as I hate any other form of DRM.
3) I love the part about Sony skirting their own rule as long as possible. Goes to show that even the companies make the standard don't like those same standards.
I've gotten all 3 Humble Bundles and paid a little more for each one. This one was the most I've paid, $15. I feel I've gotten super value for my money and highly recommend it. If you haven't gotten the Humble Bundle yet, do it!

Nope. I worked for Gamestop as a store manager for many years and the company, as a whole, is antagonistic towards their customers. Sure, you can find some really awesome stores within the company, but keep in mind, those stores are being run by a manager that is doing everything they can to avoid following company doctrine.
Gamestop does not and never has cared about a customer. Sure, it's a business and it's purpose is to make money, but Gamestop is out of control. In my region, for example, the regional manager didn't allow stores to do midnight launches unless said store was within competition range of another company. Simply to damage the business of the other company. When Gamestop started feeling pressure from other companies about 5 yrs ago, did they try to make themselves better to attract customers? No, they BOUGHT every single competitor and shut most of them down.
I could go on, but it'd bore you all. My opinion, this move by Star Ruler is fantastic and I wish them all the best!
Seriously? The entire govt is behind it and this one pompous jackass is gonna screw it up. How bout they ban all movies that have a rating higher than a PG-13? That sounds fair.

Is it possibly easier for cheaters to prosper in those online matches that your life apparently revolves around? Yep. Could Sony simply ban consoles running mods from PSN? Yep.
