@Morts I'm in a similar situation, 90% of my usage of my PS3 has been for the BBC iPlayer over the last year. I might sell it but I love Uncharted so maybe not.

And Joystiq, it's called the BBC iPlayer, not Player.

@Special Agent Steve I've seen the same trend, I know 5 guys who bought a PS3 and they all use it as a blu ray player primarily, with some exclusives played occasionally (Uncharted and Killzone basically). I'm the same as well. They all play multiplatfom games on Xbox, and you know why? Xbox Live and achievements.

I hope Sony get the online portion right next gen, and bring PSN up to speed with where it's needed to be for years now. I hate to say this, as I loved my PS1/2 but Sony fudged up this gen, and has gone from dominant leaders to last place.

@MEGATOOL It's just a deleted scene, takes 30 mins at most to play through. Marcus and Dom wear Theron Armour to sneak into Nexus.

@superklye And that beta is coming in January I believe.

@OverDriven But you didn't, as you can load the campaign from the exact chapter you were on.

@Godslegion The main glitches we're seeing in the beta are already gone, this beta is old code. It's more like the Alpha code than the Beta code unfortunately.

@IQ Review The game has so much re-playability when you factor in horde, beast and multiplayer. If you only want the campaign, then indeed, you should have rented. But to say 60 dollars for a 10 hour campaign is "weak" is kind of silly when there is so much more there.

Some pretty impressive sales figures for Gears 3 already if it's sold nearly as many as the first two Gears games combined did at launch. Didn't Gears 2 sell 2 million in the first 48 hours alone worldwide?
