Video Games Live announces 42 North American shows

Nov 4th 2010 8:12PM (Joystiq)
@Courtney

I though VGL wasn't going to come back to Kansas City after the poor showing two years ago. Now that this is suddenly sprung on me, I wish I had more time to drum up support from more people I know. Nonetheless, tickets are purchased.

Rocket Knight trailer sparks our interest

There is no statement that encompasses my desires as a gamer more than "new Ristar game". It is great to see that I am not alone.

Surely everyone believes that having a yellow shirt that smiles at people is the best part of this prize pack.

Favorite game? Mega Man 9 is fantastic and World of Goo is well-made, but my favorite has to be Art Style: Cubello.

DS Daily: Recommend some homebrew apps

Jan 18th 2009 6:36PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I'm surprised I haven't seen any love yet for ComicBookDS. It's my favorite homebrew application, although it's legality is somewhat questionable since one of the only ways to get comics to read on it is to download them off the Internet.

DS Daily: At launch

Nov 22nd 2008 6:54PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I didn't get my DS until 2007. What really got me to purchase a system were super-unique games like the lawyer simulator Phoenix Wright and the surgery simulator Trauma Center. I haven't seen either of those games in action at the time of purchase, but the off-the-wall ideas and possibilities of this system intrigued me. Also, this was the system with Kirby on it.

WiiSX: Play PSone games on your Wii

Oct 20th 2008 10:28PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I can see how this would make sense on a Classic controller, but I wonder how they plan to work with the shortage of shoulder buttons on all Nintendo products. At least it's good to know that most PS games don't make extensive use of all four shoulder buttons, but I wonder how the workaround would operate.
