that's what I was thinkig. one of those hoods w/ raised vents on the sides and a downward sloping central vent...the kind you would find on tricked lancer for instance. too much realestate above the vents (if rotated 90 deg) for it to be the audi bumper. It would be cut for the lights

Anybody else liken this to the rash of "I was confused" incidents about a decade ago where people were mowing through restaurants and open air markets. It led to all the debate on max age limits for drivers. That was last generation. This generation we just have a scapegoat.

So, of all the forms of car racing out there, NASCAR seems to be the only one where the rear wing actually manages to get the car airborne? Do these announcers know what they're talking about? now i'm not an engineer, or a aerodynamic expert, but notice how the back didn't lift until the roof flaps raised?

Agreed, but here's my question. If the Taurus is available as AWD, is it difficult to switch a platform from AWD to RWD? I can understand going FWD to RWD since you'd have to run a shaft and allow for a diff and reworked suspension, but it would seem like all that's already there w/ an AWD platform...and people seem to like the AWD Taurus/SHO. But i'm not an engineer. Perhaps someone can shed some light
