First of all I want to say that you are the only reason I read the comments here on Jostiq beacuse sadly you seem to be the only one being able to take some self distance and furthermore your posts are always spot on.
I come from Sweden so I know how our country works. I fully agree with you that (correction) 28 000 dollars isnt a reason to commit suicide. Though in Sweden we cannot understand why americans always put things on credit and have such an enormous dept.
Sweden isnt like U.S.A. We dont have the kind of poverty you do. And if you lose your job and wife (etc etc) you always have our social security net to land on. Think Sweden as middle class U.S.A,. We dont have the poverty and we dont have the same amount of rich people. So even with a dept like that you can always manage really good in Sweden. (healthcare, all kinds of schools and dental is free (dental is free up untill your 20th birthday)
That is why the reason he commited suicide isnt beacuse of the money. Clearly he had other reasons.
15. "I'm glad to see that, in every news, Europe is in fact UK."
You can't really be that stupid. The post is clearly about the UK, as in the United Kingdom. The fact that the only major city they mention is London and that 50,000 consoles is much less than the amount sent to Europe didn't clue you in. Don't a smart ass(arse for you europeans), because you'll just look like a dumbass, Jackass.

Ehm yes? He said that Europe is always about UK. And you correct him by saying the post is about UK?
Its always like this beacuse americans only care about the UK in Europe. So its not unusual to see news from UK only. I guess its beacuse they share the same language. Or something Either way its not something I get pissed of about, but seeing an american trying to deny that statement is just silly. Like you would have any clue on how it is in Europe for countries other then from the U.K
Its not like we are going to see sales charts(/information) from any other country in Europe. Well maaaaybe France and Germany if someone cares enough.
I never ment to say that the xbox 360 dosent have any rpgs. What I meant with that was that the 360 didnt have any good rpgs. Just look at that list. Most of it is crap. And some games are ports. I could throw back a list with thousands of ps2 rpg at you but I dont see the point since I only play like 5 of them or something.
I should have been more clear but its the quality Im after. And the quality rpgs arent on the 360. Maybe it will. Lost Odyssey could really fill a big hole there.
yes and none of those games I actually like. Plus everyone knows that the rpgs for xbox dosent hold up to the same class as for ps2. Im pretty sure it will be the same with this generation. The "western RPGs" will mostly be ports so I can still play those on the ps3. And whatever you say MS dosent have any support in Japan thus they will not have the biggest RPGs. This isnt news really. Dont missunderstand me, I like the Xbox for Halo, Dead rising and Gears of war. Sadly thats the only exclusive games I liked with the box. The RPGs will be for the PS3 without any doubt. Maybe if xbox owners are lucky they could see some ports of final fantasy or Suikoden or any other of those really good rpgs. I hope so for you.
I am going to try Blue dragon today though but Im pretty sure it wont be anything special. (yes I live in Japan and its getting released today). Problem with good rpgs nowadays is that they almost have to come from a serie. Maybe I started playing them very young and have a trouble getting used to new ones.
Even so I think RP gamers will have alot more fun with the PS3 compared to the 360.
So if you are interested in rpgs you should pick any of the other two? No way. Rpgs will never hit the xbox beacuse of the low support in Japan, and the Wii just cant handle the demands.
Hopefully I can get Fire emblem to the Wii. Or wish anyway.
No you are horrible. I belive that the american gaming communitys gives this game a lower score beacuse its not american. Seriously though, I have no idea why but I have to make a point aint I :D It was the same thing with Gothic 1 and 2. Both of them got a lower score than Bethesdas creations.
For me it is impossible to comprehend that Morrowind gets a better score than Gothic 2. And they complain about the control system. In my opinion the new control scheme was almost a revolution(talking about Gothic 1). While in morrowind and elders scrolls 2 you just slash your way threw everything, in Gothic you actually had to use the different weapon techniques you learn.
Dont get me wrong, I like Bethesdas games. But how many of you people have actually played Morrowind or Elders scrolls 2 to its finish? Exactly HOW interesting is the main plotline? For me the fun thing was running around and doing side quest. What the Gothic series actually was able to create was a really really good main plot that was more intriguing the further you came in the game. And if you didnt find it interesting, yeah well just dont get the game. The thing is that the Gothic series had a good plotline anyway.
Bugs is something that patches can fix. Sure it sucks but it can change. The rest you stated is something I dont agree with. I also think that you havent played Gothic 1 and 2 and thus wont actually get involved in this game in the same way. But it dosent matter beacuse you will only state that you have played them if you reply.
Gothic has the thing console rpgs have that PC rpgs so very often lack, it makes you wanna finish it. I salute the germans that created this and I hope it will at least sell well in Europe so I can see a 4th addition.
My point is that atleast give it a fair chance and try to enjoy the story instead of comparing it to Oblivion all the time. I agree though that the story is alot more interesting if you played the other two games.
