Loved Empire. I hope the next one feel more...complete. I mean, it felt really short, and I wanted to explore a little more of the wonderful world they made.

Now, I've come to terms with the fact Stampers Bros Rare is gone. But why won't Microsoft use the franchises under Rare's Belts? You've got a bevy of classic names that you could use! Fighting games are making a comeback. Well, how about some Killer Instinct? What about a new Battletoads as one of those XBLA games? I'm do not have to pretend the spark is still there, but it'd be good from a marketing standpoint.

This is BAD news. Roland Emmerich was the TOP choice. Now they're gonna get someone WORST THAN ROLAND EMMERICH.

The game is early, so hopefully development doesn't go tits up. Thank you, Joystiq, for keeping me abreast of the situation. Hopefully Tecmo-Koei won't just milk the name, and have a game that's a loaded chest of options. I might just bounce back into the franchise if it's more than a nip and a tuck.
