Dec 21st 2009 8:04AM While I'm the first to vouch for a Supergirl film occuring, I don't see it happening. I can't tell if Swift can act(in fact, the only thing I know her for is getting berated on stage while she was supposed to accept some worthless awards.) but if SHE where cast, I'd be getting some bad vibes.

Now, Supergirl would be a hard character to transcribe into a film. I mean, most Superheroines have trouble getting into movies but Supergirl, being a sweet teenager who can smash a lamppost with er bare hands would have difficulty finding an audience. Bryan Synger tried mixig up the demographics involved, with results we all know. That said, I hope one day someone be up for the challenge, because frankly, this dearth of Superman related big screen projects is getting stupid

About Cyborg assuming the world would fall to nuclear warfare and Jean Claude Van Damme? About Back to the Future assuming we'd have hoverboards? I mean, movies are like oracles, right?

Fan Rant: Please Don't Let Paul W.S. Anderson Direct 'Metal Gear Solid' {Cinematical}

Nov 16th 2009 12:58AM Nyaa! I am not heavilly into Metal Gear, but if they go with Anderson, that inmediately shoots the film straight into low budget February release. Think about it. Resident Evil was a survival-horror game, and he made a zombie action film. Aliens and Predators where sci fi horror and he made them into mediocre action. By my estimate Metal Gear should rightfully be a Spy THriller heavy in the future tech and and very story driven. What would Wes ANderson do?
