All I got from this is: "Hi, my Sony is Sony, and this is my Sony."

Silicon Knights should just give up and shut down while there are still people intent on remembering them for Eternal Darkness and Legacy of Kain.

Soon enough, they'll only be known as "that mediocre studio with a crybaby for a boss that gives budget games a bad name".

Ya know, I wouldn't bring up Joystiq's utter review fail with Nier, it only makes Justin look very amateurish all over again. FFXIII can only dream it had as good a story and characters as Nier.
Most people who've played FFXIII have already forgotten most everything about it, whereas Nier is one of those games that stays with you long after it's over. Don't waste your time with a corridor-RPG-lite.

A fistful of new Shinobi 3DS screens

No, you're not. Every screenshot I've seen for this game looks awful. Honestly, this type of game does the 3DS more harm than good.

Witcher 2 version 2.0 arriving September 29, included in Xbox 360 version

@Miketor
Very much agreed. I can't remember the last time I felt so engrossed in a story, so conflicted and torn with some of the choices I had to make, so disgusted and furious at some of the shit that happens to characters I genuinely cared about.

It may not be perfect, but The Witcher 2 is my new gold standard for what a modern RPG should be.

CD Projekt Red had the balls to make two completely separate games for the entire second act - and they had confidence to believe that their game was good enough that people would want to play both. No simplistic good or evil paths, either, just a series of difficult choices that, no matter how hard you try, will never lead to a 100%-happy ending.
And THAT is how you do "choice", not with the usual "Hitler or Jesus" shtick that most supposedly open-ended games pull.

Ubisoft vs. BNP in Post-it art grudge match

@baddates77 Nah, they won't - you can't buy this kind of publicity. This Post-It war has been going on for a while now, even serious papers like Le Monde wrote about it and the companies involved haven't taken them down, so hopefully the mosaics are safe for now.
Check out this Bowser, it's unbelievable: http://bigbrowser.blog.lemonde.fr/2011/08/01/post-it-les-open-space-parisiens-se-declarent-la-guerre/
