can we have a feature to filter a particular persons posts?

batteries and i've heard numbers somewhere depending on what sensors it's using. i think it was 30-60hrs but i may have that wrong.

it's not perfect, but it's not a huge problem either. you can get some cool USB rechargable batteries i saw somewhere. not sure if the Wii USB ports are powered though.

So this post is because he said "You know what" in a tone to imply they were doing something "unprecedented". How did you get that tone from a written quote.

We've all read the post many times by now and it's pretty clear it's a stinker. It's posts like these that make me wish Joystiq would just admit fault, rather than shouting "it's the fanboys, head for the hills the fanboys are coming" as a defence.

hang on a sec, so when one company does something it's news and when another company does it it's not. how many products when launched have representatives handing over the product on launch day? it's a PR stunt and like you said the media is making a big deal out of it, so what?

what really bothers me is the context that Joystiq is taking. i fail to see what part Reggie has said "we do what nobody else has done before".

so what's your beef Joystiq? are you implying they shouldn't do it? or are you saying they should do it because others before them have, and they shouldn't mention it because it's nothing special?

i don't expect impartial news from a blog, but twisting stories like this one appears to have been is worrying.

maybe nintendo and sony will finally join together...

actually exclusivity just pisses off the consumer, because we can't ALL afford ALL consoles. certain titles you expect to be exclusive, nintendo has mario for instance. but when the big titles like GTA get exclusivity they effectively cut their potential sales and put a large proportion of people off the game in the future!

this is official from a press release today, until today the only official statement was japan get it free until June 2007. so yes it is NEW news, even if we all pretty much new it already.

actually Play.com have been taking orders since the day they announced the price. oh and most deals around are terrible, they seem to be bundling games and charging RRP on everything!
