I'm not seeing how they can just get away with theft... I'm glad they're going out of business. There's no place for corrupt businesses such as this in the world.
An 84 seems awfully high for this game anyways. It seems that an western RPG has ratings at least above an 80 usually for the simple fact that you can play it for 100+ hours. Ratings are ridiculously inflated. In my perfect world every video game reviewer would use this system.
1/5- This game is terrible and won't be enjoyed by anyone. 2/5-Heavily flawed, however may be enjoyed by someone interested in thii genre/theme et cetra. 3/5-Solid game held back by a few flaws whether they are game breaking glitches, plot holes, lack of fun at times, etc. 4/5- This game is fantastic in most ways and will most certainly be enjoyed by anyone interested at all in it's genre or story. 5/5-This scored is reserved only for games that bring something amazing to the table. They must change gaming as we know it and set the bar for all other games. You don't give a 5/5 to a sequel of a 4/5 game simply because it improved on certain aspects of it's predecessor.
Going my own special rating system I would give New Vegas a 3/5 (and there's nothing wrong with that!)
