I resubbed last night to check out the new patch because I've heard that it is a dramatic increase in framerate and holy crap, they weren't lying! I was in a keep siege that had 90ish destruction attacking and we had at least 2-3 warbands defending and I was doing a solid 20-30FPS. Yes, its not perfect, but compared to 2 months ago when I played that kind of siege would of been 10-20FPS, and I don't even wanna talk about running up a ramp in a keep only to go down to 4FPS and die. (Now they have 8-lane highways going up to the lords room!)

I'm defiantly going to keep playing and recheck everything out for me. Aion to me was a horrible grindfest and just wasn't fun. Lots of people in my guild enjoy it, but a lot of us can't stand the grind and were looking to try out war again to get our fill of killing people. It's finally nice to see Mythic listening to there customers, performance was a huge issue with many of us, and so was CC, and there on the right road to fixing both.

From what I understand, it's going to be the same as switching districts in the cities, but instead of it just being that city, it will be the whole world. (At least you'd think it would make sense to make it this way)

What time in the podcast do they talk about guild wars 2?

Yes, I know, but the tech still isn't there. It's going to be like how the Wii remote was originally shown the work, like how it is with the Motion Plus. In the begining the Wii was shown off to work like with the motion plus, and it ended up not being like we thought it was. (for the waggle)

Natal looks great in the videos, but until I see a release version and mess with it or see it used in games I'll be skeptical. I can't see it being used for any core games, only casual whereas the wiimote can be used for both.

Zelda will be next year, it would be stupid to release super Mario Galaxy 2 and Zelda in the same year. Plus that gives the development teams another year to make the game better.

I was happy with this conference. Yeah, it was boring at times, but the NSMBW, Golden Sun, SMG2, and this make up for those boring parts. I could care less about Microsoft's Natal thing. Shit looks amazing in videos but the tech just isn't there. It's just a upgraded eyetoy. Maybe in 5-10 years we'll get stuff like they portrayed in the videos.

Constant Motion by Dream Theater. I have been wanting this one so bad. My Wii will finally get played tomorrow!

It seems like it, but there is the chance that after your 30 minutes are up you will only have another couple of minutes to finish your runs before the instance flips to the other side, unless they are slow at gathering resources, then it could take them an hour or so.

Looks great BTW. My guild is sick and tired of Badlands being so dead, hopefully this brings some more people back to the game.
