were fun, creative, didn't hold your hand, were awesome, punished you, made you feel something, told a story, were imaginative, exercised your imagination, etc
there isnt a user interface for christ sakes! no health bars, no ammo counters!
and the combat was awesome! your gun shot lasers, put up shields, and shot big blasts that took down shields! and you didnt have a power gauge for your gun!

but ever since steam came out and they started doing those summer and winter sales, I've really had no reason to pirate anything, paying the price of the sale games is worth the hassle downloading from a shady source, and finding a no-cd or cracked exe or something and worrying about viruses

Apr 10th 2011 3:15AM (Joystiq)i mean, maybe if they made scenarios like, your plane crashed and you have to trek through the wilderness to reach your base or safe zone, or you have to lead a squad of men into a dinosaur infested area to recover some item, but general death match is stupid, and imo not worth $20. I might buy it for like $2.99 during a steam sale.
